This avocado crema is so tasty you won’t want to stop eating it. It’s great on its own with chips or you can serve it with steak or chicken. We’re going to have it tonight with some barbecued skirt steak, poblano peppers and a fresh salsa… yum!
It’s really easy to make. Just put all of the ingredients in the food processor and get ready to enjoy this savoury treat. 🙂
The juice of one and a half limes
3 heaping tbsp of Greek yogurt or sour cream
1 or 2 tbsp of water
1/4 cup feta
1/4 cup cilantro
1/2 of a seeded jalapeno pepper
1/2 clove of grated garlic
1/2 tsp salt
Just blend and serve. You can make the crema a few hours before serving. The lime will prevent the avocados from turning brown.
